  1. TOO NARROW

Posted by AHERB on Jan 22nd 2018

I AGREE WITH THE OTHER REVIEWS. I ALSO SUFFER FROM PLANTAR FACIAITIS AND FOUND THESE TOO NARROW. UNFORTUNATELY, THE WIDE IN MY SIZE WAS ALREADY SOLD OUT. I HAD TO RETURN THEM.

  2. Great shoes but a little small

I've tried to give this review before, but nothing ever posted. So, I'm trying again. Avia makes great shoes! I have Plantar Fsciitis, and Avia shoes are one of the few that work with my issue. Having said that, the Avi-Rival is a good shoe and I've owned two pairs ... which I have worn out. Would have given them a 5 star, but they run just a little small. So, remember to take that into account when you order.

  3. Good shoes but run a little small.

I have planter fasciitis and so need shoes that are a good fit. My pocketbook, however, requires that the price be reasonable. Avias fit the bill! In fact, they are just about the only athletic shoes that work for me and don't cause a flareup of my planter fasciitis . Having said that however ... These particular shoes are nice and do not cause any problems with the planter fasciitis, but they run slightly small. I normally wear 8 1/2 but with this model my toes hit a little too close to the end of the shoe. They are wearable, but next time I would probably order them in a size 9.
